- Hi Guys,I would have included some pictures, however, everything is out of sight now that it\'s installed.This product has been a lifesaver for me. I live in Idaho on the outskirts of a town and up a heavily wooded creek canyon, 4-miles or so.Outside anywhere on my property, I get one bar of voice signal on my iPhone 13 Pro, but that\'s it. Data downloads are between 2-3mb down and under 1 mb uploading. When I moved in, there already was a $600 cellphone system already inside the house - but it didn\'t help at all with my signal performance, inside the house and was ugly, as it had three inside antennas mounted on walls inside the livable space of the house.I figured anything would be better than what was there, as I had no data signal and sometimes voice signal inside my house.WOW!!!! What a difference!!!! I mounted the Yagi antenna, with the help of a signal finding app. on the roofline of my house, pointed toward the best signal. I then ran the antenna \"line in\" cable in at the gable, and directly into the attic space. Where I have power. I also left everything up in the attic, power supply, controller and the indoor panel antenna as well. All out of sight, with the indoor panel antenna pointed down into the house, as it\'s only 1-Story.I went from no Data signal and limited voice signal inside the house to better than when I\'m standing outside the house. Inside now: I have 30mb Down and 20mb Up for data and 4-bars for voice.The controller is self adjusting and has the ability to set things up automatically for best performance. Make sure the inside panel antenna is at least 25-feet away from the outside antenna and since it\'s pointed down from the attic, make sure the outside antenna is higher up than the indoor antenna. I you do put the inside antenna in the livable space, make sure you have it facing away from where the outside antenna is. Again, keep the feedback loop concept in-mind when setting up your system.Note: Apparently the two antennas can interfere with each other (causing an interference loop) if the two antennas are too close to each other or pointed at each other. I never had any problems, because I read and re-read the installation instructions before installation.
- We live in a remote, rural area where service is sketchy. There is a tower about 4 miles away, but we could NOT use our phones inside our house and only in a select location in the yard. Plus, we rely on the phones for internet. We installed a 36\' tower on the house, mounted the Phonetone yagi antenna on it and installed the booster and indoor antenna. Yay! phone calls and internet became available in the house. Then we were away working for 6 months working. When we got home, the system was not working, but we had signed up for the product warranty. We weren\'t sure what the problems was. I contacted Phonetone—you can only contact them by email, they are in China. But after sending Lillian our info, she agreed to send us a replacement booster. The first package mistakenly had another indoor and outdoor antenna set-up, but no booster, so I had to contact her again to get a booster. It took several weeks, but in the end we got a replacement booster unit and the system is working well again. Good product for the money, and they seemed to want to be helpful.
- I don\'t have anything to compare this signal booster to but it works fine as of now. Increased cell phone bars on Att phones in the house. Price was competitive with others on Amazon. Installation was simple enough.
- The system was not difficult to put in. I aimed it am the tower and get full signal strength in shop. I only get two bars with the weBoost at the house but I get twice the amount of download speed with the weBoost. Still better that what I had and a fraction of the cost of weBoost.
