- If you are looking at getting a true 3 axis smartphone gimbal at a great price look no further. Zhiyun keeps improving their line of gimbals this being in the Smooth Q line up. I would say this is an entry level based on materials being it is made of plastic but not on function. It has all the features and modes you would expect higher end gimbal like in their regular Smooth line.The Smooth Q3 is made of plastic which makes it light and portable for quick on the go shooting or vlogging. They have included a new light that can revolve 180 degrees with three different intensites to use with either front facing or the back cameras on your smart phones. I think this is a great addition if you are using the front facing camera to vlog as it is just enough light to enhance your face, its not a light for fully illuminating landscape shooting but will still give some light to your videos when using the rear camera. It folds up with the help of the sliding mechanism similar to the slide-x gimbal making it compact to carry when not shooting and extends quickly when you need to get started shooting.Similar controls on the grip of the gimbal with a joystick to movement of the gimbal pan, tilt, rotation left and right. It has a mode button to quickly transition from Pan follow, Lock mode, follow mode, POV, Vortex mode where the camera spins, and phone go mode where quick movement are helped with increase motor power. There is a record button on the front as well.On the back there is a power button, and a trigger button that has several features. Single tapping turns on follow mode where you can lock on a object and the phone will automatically keep in frame. Double tapping the trigger will recenter the gimbal, and triple tapping will change orientation. Pressing and holding will enable phone go mode. There is also an integrated zoom rocker on the side so you can control you all the functions of the phone from the gripstick which makes shooting that much more enjoyable. There are also gestures you can use to control the functions when shooting alone infront of the camera.The motors are strong enough to support the Moment lenses and the arms do not appear even with the use of the wide lens. Which was an improvement on previous models.If that is all that was included that would be all you needed to make buttery smooth videos with your smartphone but they include the Zi cami app when connected via blue tooth allow for even more modes of shooting like, timelapse, slowmotion, panorama, motionlapse. There a full editing suite where you can shoot and edit in real time. This is a real bonus as you don\'t need an extra app like filmic pro or and editing app or software.The combo come with a tripod, carrying case and wrist stap and added editing suite. So you are getting a lot of kit and not just a gimbal. This is a great package giving you everything you need to get shooting at a great price.

- The media could not be loaded. So I ended up buying the Q3 after I needed a quick way to take video on my Real Estate Shoots and when im out on vacation. After lots of research I ended up picking the new Q3. I like what Zhiyun has been doing with gimbals so I choose this one over the DJI, and because i read it was much smaller and easier to use. The kit came with a tripod, hand sling as well as a nice carrying case and a 1-year ZY Cami Prime Card. It took me a bit to get used to the different modes but after watching some tutorials im getting the feel for it. I have made an unboxing video (above) that shows eveything that came with it and I will be adding to it on the different modes and what that looks like.So far its an awesome phone gimbal and stay tuned for future clips of me using it.Also seller was really fast in shipping and also had good customer service.
- I would like to start off by saying that this brand is amazing, and I will always go with Zhiyun. Excellent option for video streaming and ticktock. I personally do YouTube videos.
- It’s really easy to use and the gimbal produces super smooth footage. I’m able to create much more cinematic videos with this gimbal.Connecting to the app is really simple and it has some cool features like tracking.
- I bought this with high hopes. Got it out of the box and attached my iphone 11 max pro, balance it and started using it with the app. The second time i used it did the same thing but this time the motors couldnt handle the weight and started spinning and shutting down. They have send me a replacement and i hope i dont run into this issue but i guess its not as strong as they want u to believe, probably it will be fine with smaller phones but most phones today are bigger.

- I highly recommend that you watch a setup video on YouTube first to ensure that you’re familiar with how to get started with it.After that you’ll be creating shots like a pro.Very nice product.
