  • Hoped to prolong the life of the phone until the next release. I guess not.I bought this 7 months ago. I suspected that this wouldn\'t be built to the same quality standards of OEM so I bought a nice screen protector to go with it. My suspicion was warranted.Even when treating your phone carefully, pixels will start to die in random spots by locking at maximum brightness, then burning out. Over time roundish black groupings of dead pixels (black spots) are appearing on my screen. Over time they get larger as the pixels around them die.These screens either come from the Shenzhen knockoffs or reject batches that QA turned down. If you only need 4-6 more months out of your phone then go right ahead and get this. Otherwise find a different replacement or put that money towards a new phone.
