- Just purchased the Conversation Clear Plus wireless earbuds from Sennheiser. A couple quick tips/suggestions for new users:1. Be sure to determine which tips and fins best fit your ears before getting started. Once adjusted, they fit great and were very comfortable and secure in my ears and makes the setup and, of course, user experience much better.2. Set up and connect via Bluetooth through the App vs. connecting the Bluetooth direct with your phone. While it may seem like it saves time to connect directly, the app is worth the time to set up for optimal experience and only takes a couple moments.Otherwise, maybe to state the obvious from a product from Sennheiser, the sound quality is truly exceptional. The ability to adjust the ambient balancing to one’s surroundings is a unique feature not common across other high quality earbud products. Further, the speech enhancement feature is a differentiator in delivering crystal clear audio. Whether streaming or conversing, the sound quality is crystal clear. Admittedly, this is not a cheap product but worthwhile for anyone who either benefits from the enhanced audio or appreciates the ability to truly customize the audio clarity to one’s personal preferences.
- Have had these for a few days now. They\'re decent, not perfect, overpriced but reasonably comfortable and do enhance speech and speech-like sounds (basically high frequency transients).I\'ve only had one of them fall out of my ear just one time; they stay in place much better than the overly heavy and unbalanced Nuheara IQ Buds 2 Max (AKA HP Hearing Pro) I also tried recently. The controls aren\'t the best, but they\'re OK as long as I don\'t need to play/pause audio music or calls very often and as long as I remember that they forget their setting each time I put them in my ears again (so I always have to re-boost the volume to max and re-enable the \"Clarity Boost\", several times a day i.e. every time I put them in, by a few short and long presses on the right earbud\'s button).I could use some more volume gain/amplification, because my hearing loss is probably more moderate-to-severe. But they do help me to understand speech from people and external speakers around me, which is their stated purpose.(IF I remember to re-boost the volume to the max and re-enable the Clarity Boost).For comparison: I have a pair of now-broken Bose Hearphones which were great until one side stopped working and Bose stopped selling and supporting them. I have a pair of Wear & Hear BeHearNow ACCESS buds, which are cheaper and work very well (and their hearing test + configuration controls in their Android app is the best by far) except that they are wired to a neck unit which is a little clunky sometimes (the wires can get in the way when I\'m eating, which is one of the main times I need them; and in the car, another time when I need them to hear my passenger or the radio, the seatbelt and neck unit get in the way of each other).I tried a pair of MDHearing Volt Max aids and they were horrible (I don\'t understand why they are so highly rated). The little tip of one of them actually came off and got stuck inside my ear so I had to go to Urgent Care and have it removed by a doctor.And I tried the Nuheara IQ Buds 2 Max, which as I mentioned were way too heavy and physically unbalanced, so they kept coming loose and falling out of my ears.So I learned to avoid the pure BTE style of the MDHearing, where the \"receiver\" speaker is also behind the ear and only a little tube with the easily detachable tip goes in your ear. And these Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus earbuds are relatively light and small and aren\'t too hard to take out and put back in my ears quickly when I need them. Though the BeHear ACCESS are the best when it comes to taking them out or putting them in quickly and they can be rebooted by just one button press when needed because Bluetooth things are messed up, like when my car hands free system fights with whatever earbuds I\'m wearing for a work conference call I have to take in the car.... The Sennheiser buds can\'t be rebooted like the BeHear ACCESS can unfortunately.I\'m also waiting for a pair of Olive Max buds from Olive Union via Indiegogo, but they\'ve been delayed for months. So I use the Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus earbuds when possible, or else the BeHear ACCESS buds+neck unit.
- Pairing and set-up were easy for Conversation Clear Plus.The Sonova chip technology is surprisingly good in automatic scene detection to balance speech volume and background noise, with active noise cancellation. A person speaking, in front of you…their voice is enhanced over surrounding noise. Works great.The app design allows great manual control beyond the automatic settings, for external noise, speech volume and a mix of balance while listening to music or audio/video calls; though an improvement for saving a profile would be welcome.The three sizes of ear tips allowed a good choice for good fit.After using AirPod Pro lately, these Sennheiser ear buds are a more advanced alternative for growing hearing issues. Highly recommended.
- The earbuds perform well for hearing. It might just be me, but I seem to have trouble keeping them in my ear. I\'ve tried several fins and eartips, but occasionally they will pop out. I seem to spend a lot of time pushing them back in.Also, I need to watch out when I put them in the charge case. Sometimes they don\'t connect with the charging contacts unless I wiggle them a bit.
- I have mild hearing loss so I lose details of conversations and have to very often ask people to repeat themselves. Restaurants and parties are especially hard as there is so much ambient noise. A friend suggested that I try these and they have truly made a difference for me. They look a little on the large size but fit well once i changed to the smaller silicone ear tips. They are very comfortable. The conversation clear app was very easy to use, which is a big deal for me since I’m not particularly technically skilled.Peoples’ voices were much more intelligible. You can tap the earbuds directly to change the volume levels although I find it easier to use the app. The battery life is very good.I’ve been using them to also listen to music and podcasts and the sound clarity is excellent. I really love the fact that I have top quality earbuds that also serve a dual purpose of making hearing clearer.This was definitely an investment but one that will really pay off for me!! It has changed the way I interact with people and I am no longer struggling to hear people speak. A true game changer!
