  • SUMMARY (no need to read the entire review) - All in all, a great product that hits the OUTDOOR EXERCISE WITH FULL ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS use case nearly perfectly. Tradeoff is audio quality/isolation versus hearing the guy flying downhill around the blind bend on the narrow singletrack. Your choice.- Road noise (traffic > 35MPH) and wind can overwhelm the music. YMMV depending on your volume choice.- SUPER comfortable running and riding. Multiple uses did not require any adjustments while wearing a running hat or helmet with sunglasses.- BT range is REALLY good. REALLY great.- Battery is pretty great. First charge lasted multiple workouts (rides, runs) plus general experimenting totaling over 8 hours of on-time (could have been 10, but I wasn\'t paying that much attention). - If there\'s a fly in the ointment, it\'s that there\'s no app and thus no way to \"see\" the battery status. The unit went from Med at the beginning a 1hr 40m ride to \"charge me\" with no interim step (Battery Low). Maybe I missed it, but it was sort of annoying to run out of battery 2/3 of the way into a ride.- TOTALLY a keeper!DETAILED REVIEWDay 1 (updates to follow) -Great packaging. As good as a Dell, MS, Google Nest, Apple product. Box has a magnetic closure with a slipcover; all white, and minimal documentation. Manual is downloadable as the only included documentation is a single fold piece that tells you how to pair the headphones. Otherwise, includes a magnetic USB-A to proprietary mag connector, small case with soft foam earplugs, and the headphones themselves. Build quality is on par with Shokz that I\'ve played with at REI and Sports Basement. No weird alignment, jagged seams, or anything amiss whatsoever. High quality feel to match the packaging. After charging for a couple of hours (not sure this was necessary, but I was busy anyway), they paired immediately with my Galaxy S9+ and I was up and running. Used my phone\'s AdaptSound feature to tune the sound/equalization to my hearing (and the limits of the headphones) and they sound just fine. In fact, good in a quiet environment. I\'ve been wearing them of a couple of hours now and they really do disappear. It\'s like wearing a weightless, invisible BT headphone that lets all the sounds of your environment int perfectly.More to come as I test them for running and mountain biking which is why I purchased these headphones. I have no use for them for phone calls or working. Outdoor exercise only.Run -Great. Set to 70% loudness (maybe). Running on the sidewalk next to 35MPH traffic and it\'s easy to hear the cars but the music is pretty much drowned out. A worthy tradeoff. On trail, I can hear the soles of my shoes scrape the pavement if I mistep, oncoming bicycles from 20\', and conversations of people I pass. No discomfort or weird vibrations, and I never had to adjust then once. Oh, and the BT is insane compared to my broken Buds+. Give or take, double the range and that\'s through one exterior wall and two interior walls. So far, excellent. Will update after the first mountain bike ride.Ride -Mtn. bike ride. Worked just like on the run. The addition of wind noise to the cars on the road obliterates any music unless you turn it up, and then what\'s the point? Great to hear all the cars approaching from behind. Downhill there was also wind noise, but it\'s not bad. It\'s loud enough though so that while you can hear the music, it\'s not enjoyable. So if you want to hear the tracks that are about to play on the downhill portion of your rides, I\'d suggest just hitting the pause button.Ride 2 -Same ride. Never lost connection and road/wind noise had the same impact as the first ride. Only difference is that the headphones were put on AFTER the helmet and sunglasses. Never slipped or needed adjustment, and never became uncomfortable.
  • I bought several different bone conducting headphones to try to find some that sound good and can pair to multiple devices. While there are less expensive options out there, they sound horrible, aren\'t comfortable, or have terrible build quality. The Haylou\'s are definitely worth the price and better than more expensive options like Shokz. I have a pair of Shokz and tried pretty much every current model available, and they all have an annoying mute feature that will mute you on video calls over and over, and the feature cannot be turned off. The Haylou\'s have pretty much the same sound quality (maybe even better), the same build quality. They are comfortable and easy to use. At first when I got these I was not able to pair multiple devices. For some reason this functionality is disabled and you must press the volume+ and multifunction button while in pairing mode for enable it (found this in the manual). Not sure why this is but it made me think that multipoint was not a feature.Pros:- Great sound quality compared to others- Comfortable- Easy to use- Multipoint/multiple device support- Additional charging cables are availableCons:- Proprietary charging connector- A bit on the expensive side
  • The Good:Never been able to wear headphones for long times. Can\'t stand over ear headphones or in ear headphones. These really surprised me. Sound quality is good. Battery life is good. Call quality is good. I can wear these all day at work even when I\'m not using them, I can leave them on and it\'s nice that they don\'t block your ears from your surroundings or meetings. Will update this after using them with translator while traveling. For now, I\'m really happy with these. The Bad:Would rather they be charged with USB-C like every other electronic device I own. They have their own magnetic contact charging USB cable, so you have to bring this extra cable around just for this thing. I like these enough that this won\'t ding it a star.
  • These are about 90-95% as good as Shokz. They can pair to multiple devices, but I only need to pair them to my Garmin running watch, which is why I sent these back and got Shokz. These are as good of quality on the outside; I don\'t know about the internals. The Shokz had the better base. I noticed the charging cable wasn\'t as high of quality as the Shokz. If you get these for a good deal or for less than OpenRun, get these. They are clones, but they are very high quality. Basically, anything I didn\'t mention here is the same as the OpenRun by Shokz.
  • Excellent quality. Purchased mainly to be able to connect to 2 phones and this works perfectly. Wish it could connect to 3. \"Sound in\" is good. Have had a few complaints from others that I have been on phone conversations with, but this has usually in noisy environments. Experience tickling vibrations from deep base when device announces \"Connected.\" This is non-issue because this is the only time I experience this. >>> One gripe. Answer button is completely flush and is hard to press. Should get better as I learn to press correct area from muscle memory. Thought about gluing upside down diamond bead to button. <<< GREAT VALUE. I would buy again.
  • Great productVery confortableGood quality soundFor recreational purpose it does the work ( ciclying )
