We returned this product because we needed some heavy duty phonesets for our office. Although it looked well built, the base was nice, but the handset was cheap.
i realylove this phone i have gotten so many people ask me about it the one great Secret that i didnt know when i got it is that it connects to your landline so it works as a cordless phone also so excited about that becouse i did getso i could use it at work i also dont have an iPhone i have a Samsung Galaxys3 and becouse of the blue tooth i can sync it the iRetroPhone alows you to sync 2 diffrent cell phones so its great for the home as well 2 people can use it The reason i gave it a 4star is becouse the reciver could be just a bit louder and just a bit more clear other than that I TOTALY LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great tech tool for my daughter and our home in general because of the multi-use functions (use for iPhone and land line). It is sturdy, user friendly and has eliminated the need for an iPhone charger (it annoyed me that my daughter would leave the charger plugged into the socket even when she wasn\'t actually charging her phone). Item arrived on time, and new in box as promised. I am very satisfied with the iRetroPhone. If I can find another at the same great price, I will buy it for sure.
Remove this useless product from your website. Iphone 4 has become a dinosaur, and this product deserves to be tossed into an incinerator to be molded into a new product.

Returned this product. Although it was purchased new, it never worked as described. Attempts were made to illuminate the blue light with no results. Requires either batteries or AC adapter.

I purchased a Piano Black High Gloss iRetrophone. It is very well built and the base is solid. The handset is a cordless wireless telephone, it is not a \'heavy\' old fashioned handset. It weighs, operates and acts much like a typical cordless handset.That said, it is not an iPhone extension, it does not import your iPhone contact list. Nor do you need to enter numbers or contact info into the iRetro handset if you intend to leave the handset on the iRetro charging cradle and simply pick up the handset to \'answer\' the phone.The iRetrophone has a landline input and integrates easily into making and receiving standard calls. In order to answer or initiate a call for your iPhone there are a couple of simple steps that beginning users may miss.NOTE: each time you\'ve \'unpaired\' the iRetro and your iPhone (typically by leaving the house) you need to re-connect. On the current IOS choose \'settings\', \'bluetooth\' and \"iRetrophone\" ( should read \'Not Connected\'), press that and the icon should read \"Connected\". I\'m not sure why you need to manually reconnect, but it takes about 5 seconds.Once connected to bluetooth the iRetro handset will ring on incoming land or iPhone calls, you don\'t have a choice of ringtones. The handset can be on the cradle , or somewhere else including in my case outside about 40 feet away. To answer a iPhone call you must press the [BT] (bluetooth) button, a bit odd and not well documented in the manual. The handset has a great speaker phone feature, much louder than a standard iPhone. The call quality is not diminished by the iRetrophone or the speaker phone feature.To dial and iPhone contact, either select and dial from the iphone, then \'transfer\' the call via the iPhone pop-up screen to the iRetrophone or simply dial the number on the handset (yeh like anyone knows a phone number these days!) and press the [BT] button on the handset. Like I mentioned you can \'redial\' a list of recently dialed numbers and can manually enter a few important contacts into the handset and that makes the dialing out feature more \'portable\'.The charging feature is quite cool. The iPhone looks amazing while set in the base.Overall it\'s functional, attractive and a great conversation piece.
