- I\'ve tried a lot of different chargers over the year for my phone. Since I started using the Samsung watch, this was a nice solution. I never really liked those flat wireless chargers, so I usually brought the off brand chargers that keep the phone upright while charging.This does work really well. I like how the lights give you feedback on the charging status and the large stand make it easy to put the phone on. It especially nice on my bedstand since it easy to grab when I get up in the morning.The issues I have with it are that the charging location is a little narrow. It can take a few tries to make sure its charging... that is especially true the watch. I think that could have corrected that if they just make the watch charger upright like the phone part. I think that would been perfect. But, it still works... and at least the lights give you feedback so you know if its charging properly.Some of the newer wireless earbuds, like my Bose Noise Cancelling earbuds will actually charge on the watch pad too. That was cool surprise. It also makes for a compelling reason to keep the watch charger pad flat.The one thing I have noticed is this charger is VERY particular about the AC adapter you use. If you don\'t use the right one, the two lights will start flashing red and the charger will not work at all (note: this seems to be the case for all wireless Samsung chargers, as I have tested it with the flat version of this charger too, and I had the same result). Not a huge problem, but definitely annoying if you\'re in a pitch and can\'t find the original cord or AC adapter. Also, it seems like a lot of the negative feedback on this device stems from this adapter issue. I\'m assuming since this adapter fast charges two devices at once, its power requirements are demanding. Maybe that\'s why its so particular. Though, I wonder why it couldn\'t just operate as a non-fast charger in that case.Anyhow, the negative are minor and I\'d still recommend this device if you can find it. Seems like its really hard find. I\'ve only seen this on Amazon.
- T-Mobile is a Nasty raunchy ass company. My watch built by Samsung made to be a stand along and after 15 hours of talking to Samsung on the phone to release IMEI was handle they we connected to T-Mobile before the sprint merge it worked great I tested it for 30 days then shut it down. When the merge was finalized I made reconnection top of the list at this point T-Mobile said they couldn\'t connect as stand alone that I had to piggy back off my phones number \"high priced Bluetooth\" anything from my phone goes to my watch so when I send fishing cords to my email and phone i get it all back on my work. Folks these watches will work T-Mobile is screwing everyone and the only reason they say you need a Samsung phone to keep up the scam. Samsung tells you you only need a old Samsung phone connect to you house Wi-Fi to allow you make changes on a bigger screen I think any android phone would work I don\'t know. Samsung is a good company T-Mobile made a 500 dollar watch into annoying paper weight and the charger does what it does charges my Ultra in full battle gear with ease
- I\'ve read so many mixed reviews on this unit so I was hesitant to purchase it. However, when Amazon had it on sale for fifty, I figured why not. In short, I have been extremely pleased with this unit.So many reviews state you need absolutely perfect placement to charge a watch on the flat charger. That may be the case, but I use the charge to charge two phones so I can\'t really comment on how it performs with a watch. With two phones, there are no issues with regards to needing a precise or exact placement. I just drop my S9 on one of the pads and my work S8 on the other and both start fast wireless charging immediately. The two LEDs indicating charging status for each charging station are greatly appreciated as well. They are not so obnoxiously bright like other chargers, so no issues charging at night in the bedroom.The charger also works fine even though both my phones have cases on them. On the S9, I have a \"Spigen Ultra Hybrid S Galaxy S9 Case\" and on the work S8, I have a \"Spigen Slim Armor Galaxy S8 Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection\". WIth the work S8, I would have trouble wirelessly charging it using any of Samsung\'s upright wireless charging stands (both the one that is permanently upright and the one that has a soft back and can convert between flat and upright) due to the thickness of the case on the S8. However, on this Duo charger, both pads charge the phone just fine with the case, no issues and no super precise placement of the phone needed.In summary, I am beyond happy with this purchase. I had figured I could just use two wireless charging pads/stands to charge my two phones (and that still is an option), but this unit is much nicer, sleeker, and seems to be a bit more forgiving with regards to charging through slightly thicker cases (it\'s not going to charge through an Otterbox Defender though so don\'t get any ideas about that). It seems very well constructed, the LEDs are useful/not overly bright, and the cooling fan is super quiet. Again, I can\'t speak as to how it works with charging a watch, but for fast wireless charging two Samsung phones (which is what I use it for), it does a great job.
