- This portable speaker with all the basic functionality.It’s easy to turn on/off, control the volume and connect a phone to Bluetooth.The speaker has the good sound quality. Good enough to please everywhere inside or outside.Recommend 100%
- Normally I have to keep the bluetooth speaker within a short distance to avoid having the audio cut out, but this speaker let me get a pretty good distance away without losing audio quality.It\'s made to look like the audio will emanate from all around the speaker but really it seems to come from one \"corner\" and the opposite corner doesn\'t have any audio coming from it. The bass isn\'t earth shaking nor is the audio quality \"sparkling\" or anything, but it doesn\'t sound bad and has a decent volume for outdoor listening.The top ring is an RGB light strip that flashes and changes color in time to the music which will look pretty cool in a dark room or at night, but I\'m honestly not looking at the speaker very much so I don\'t see the need to have it. I\'m sure there\'s a way to turn it off but I didn\'t see an easy button to press and so I\'m not sure how to do it.Speaking of buttons, there\'s a power button that you have to hold for a second to turn the device on (which I guess prevents it being accidentally activated by bumping the button), one button for volume up, one for Volume down, and another that you press to initiate bluetooth pairing. I didn\'t see any other buttons so I don\'t know if there\'s one hidden somewhere to disable the RGB light show.Apparently it also has a slot for a memory card to hold your music so you can play without needing your phone (or whatever) to stream music to it, but I haven\'t got a memory card free that I could use to test that feature out. Still it\'s cool that it\'s an option.I haven\'t played it from dawn till dusk so I don\'t know if the 25 hour battery claim is correct or not, but I played it for several hours and didn\'t notice any decrease in the battery indicator (3 white lights and one blue which I believe just shows you\'re connected to bluetooth).It\'s got a decently thick handle on it which I was able to use to hang the speaker up on a thin fence post. It\'s a bit too heavy to carry around with me all the time though. I\'m more likely to find a central location to place it so I will be around it and can hear it.It\'s a decent speaker for outdoor listening but not extremely loud or with strong bass. I\'d put it at \"company picnic\" level rather than \"full backyard BBQ\" or anything.
- I was looking to get a new portable speaker, so as soon as I saw this I requested it. It took about 8 hours to come to a complete charge (first charge), but that charge lasted for a while (not on continuous play), but using throughout the day frequently. I like the size and weight of this speaker, as I currently have a Harman Kardon portable blue tooth speaker, which has great sound quality, its just a little big and heavier than this speaker. This is the size I was looking for to bring out of the house to the beach, outside to wash the car, etc. It does get loud, just not overwhelmingly loud. It also depends on the device that you are connected with, and where you have the speaker placed. It makes a big difference! The audio is good, but not great, you may have to play with your devices to figure out which device sounds the clearest! It has some bass, but again not overwhelming! Its a great speaker if you want something small, yet loud enough, just wouldn\'t recommend to use at a party unless maybe you connect 2 of them. Great value, compared to similar items!
- This speaker has a fun little light at the top and a comfortable and convenient handle for carrying it around. It\'s a good additional speaker for our house that we can take out in the yard. It\'s water resistant and pretty sturdy so it feels like it\'s okay if we left it outside in the gazebo for a couple of days. It gets pretty loud and the base is decent. The sound quality might not be quite as good as the JBL speaker we also have, however for half the price, it\'s a great choice.
