- This really has everything you need to create a vlogging studio. Some of the reviews discuss it not being \"professional\" and, on receiving this kit, I realize how absolutely ridiculous this complaint is. Let me give you an example: this kit has a light that charges in 20 minutes and lasts for an hour and a half. If you are producing three hour content with no break for 20 mins, then this kit is not for you--but, then again, if you are not a 3+ hour content creator then why are you looking for basic vlogging kits on Amazon? I am recording 20 minute instructional videos for online because of Corona--probably like everyone else is. This kit made my videos from a previous Skype quality with sound that cut in-and-out to a full on professional looking Vox video where I look 20 years younger and you can hear everything I say. If you dont want to look around Amazon for the next two hours trying to figure out the highest rated tri-pod, then you have found the kit you want. Congratulations. You may now return to the TV binge.
- I purchased this to create a simple recording of me and my daughters singing a song together. This product was great EXCEPT for the microphone, which has sounded so great in all of the other research I had done. We were standing about 2-3 feet away from the microphone, and the sound was VERY SOFT and there was a clicking sound we couldn\'t get rid of. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I ended up using the internal mic from my Google Pixel to make the recording, which was far better. Everything else was stellar: the tripod, the phone holder, the LED light (very bright; great options for 3 levels of light), and the mic sounds great if you are speaking directly into it, but one you step back a bit, it picks up very little, and I am not sure why the clicking sound was there ... I am ultimately very disappointed because I purchased the mic SO THE SOUND FOR OUR RECORDING WOULD BE EXCELLENT. It was the exact opposite.
- This item is very well put together. Comes with everything needed for a nice little video shoot.I do a lot of video for food, cooking and travel and this makes it so easy to do on my own or with my wife/partner behind the scenes.I was very impressed with the sound quality. The mic and wind screen work perfectly. - An inside piece broke after only being lightly used, stationary on a table. The top is now unable to be tightened, and swivels around when I’m using my phone to take videos.I’ll probably duct tape the thing so that I can still use it, but it’s disappointing to have something break so quickly for no reason whatsoever.
- This is a modular kit which makes it modular and more functional. The light is surprisingly bright and very helpful. The microphone requires the cord provided. I tried using a different microphone USB cord but it did not work. I will have to call the company to try to replace that court. However that was my bad.The most useful concept is using your existing phone video held tightly by a clamp, but with external light and directional microphone. The kit can be applied to a tripod or handheld.
- Delivered what we needed in small classroom environment. Good quality microphone. Easy panning of mounted smartphone camera. Liked the breakdown and store in a small briefcase for transport. Only a few minutes required to assemble for each use. Stable tripod.
