Pulsar PB8I Power Bank
- Works well for any thermal optic that will take an external battery pack. I run mine on a full moon optics Genesis 50. I can hunt anywhere from 3 days to a week on a full charge (Roughly 12-15hrs of run time). Saves me lots of money from not having to use cr123 batteries.
- I plugged it to the Sightmark Wraith and left it on to see how long it\'d last. I turned it on at 8pm and turned it off at 9am the next day because I had to leave. The following day, I recharged the battery for a few hours and plugged it to the Pulsar Core thermal. I turned on the thermal and left it on for 21 hours before the battery started to run on 2 bars. Still had some charge left, but I had to go.
- Would’ve been better with a 90 degree plug for my application but I felt the plug area is weak. The one I have still works but I don’t trust it because I afraid it will pull off in my scope.
- Bought this for a Sightmark Wraith Night/Day Vision scope. First one arrived, the charging port was crimped and defective. Unit would not charge. Am waiting for a replacement. So far, the return process thru Amazon was easy and painless. I will update when replacement arrives. And for those asking if it comes with a charger, and some say it does, it does NOT. It comes with a micro usb cord to connect to a charger. Replacement arrived in 2 days! Works and charges the way it should. Return and replacement was a breeze!
- Excellent product for the money. Battery has very good endurance and maintains output in moderately cold temps.
- Needed to be replaced by pulsar twice under warranty. Still doesn’t work well. Went with different brand of power pack that works fantastic.
- Great idea ruined by a micro USB type B male cord. Don\'t worry! That connector will wear out and be useless long before the battery inside the unit.
