- I have purchased refurbished Samsung products in the past and , apart from the original packaging , they were impossible to tell from new ....... this watch is the exception for me .... it works perfectly , but there are several nicks and scratches on the bezel, and clasp ..... But for the price , I can\'t really complain , and I\'m slapping a Ringke bezel on it anyway .... the included charger is a no-name version of the samsung oem charger..... it\'s painfully slow , to the point , I will be replacing it immediately... My wife has the original samsung charger for her galaxy watch, and it\'s a lot faster .... I\'ll use hers in the meantime ... Overall , I\'m satisified with my purchase , because it works fine, but wish it was closer to \"excellent condition\" as advertised .... I\'d say it arrived in good conditon , with a nearly useless charger ..
- Renewed vendor (1/5 stars):I received my renewed watch from \'chubbiestech\', so this is not a reflection of ALLAmazon Renewed products. If you\'ve purchased enough renewed products from here, you\'ll realize that it is a total grab bag of what you are going to get. The watch I received was described as excellent condition, and was more in the \'good\' category. Obvious signs of prior use, some coating wear on the body, and a bit of really gross dirt in the cracks of the bevel ring and microphone hole which I had to clean up myself.Watch and value (4/5 stars):As for the watch itself, even given the above refurbisher issues, it is an absolute bargain in the range of $120. You won\'t find anything on the android side that is comparable for the price. If you compare Samsung to Apple, Apple wins hands down. Android is so far behind the Apple Watch Series 8 it isn\'t even funny. But for Android users, the GW4 Classic is the best of the breed.Summary:If you are willing to reach into the grab bag for a bargain, you might pull out a decent one.
- This is Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is replacing my OG Galaxy Watch which I also bought refurbished. It arrived in perfect condition with the charger. The battery required charging before it could be connected and updated but I don\'t consider that an issue.After a full charge and all the updates were done the watch behaves exactly as it should. Battery life is similar to what I had with the OG. I will point out here that I don\'t sleep with the watch on, I have a smart bed that tracks my sleep. I\'ve never been able to sleep well with a watch on anyway. If required, I could go two full days without charging the watch.Transitioning from Tizen to Wear OS has been easy with a slight learning curve.My only issue is with the watchband, I don\'t like the silicone bands and have always replaced them with leather. The 4 Classic uses a 20mm band instead of the 22mm band so I ended up needing to order a new one.Loving my \"new to me\" Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm.
- I gave it 4 stars as first one was DOA. Since it was an Amazon Renew, my expectations for success were not high. Confirmed when first watch was defective. Their quality control is definitely weak.They did ship a replacement for one day and was delivered as promised.The watch itself is nice and works as described. However, it\'s functionality is tightly tied to brand of Samsung phone. Many features (particularly camera operation) only work on their high end phones. I have a Galaxy A53 5G (mid price phone) and many of the features of the watch don\'t work. Keep this in mind if deciding to purchase this Watch 4 Classic.Overall a decent watch at the renew price but high price of new would require to look at phone you will be using. I am satisfied but not overly excited about smart watches.
- I\'m going to go out on a limb here and say this is a brand new watch. It wasn\'t shipped in an original box but that\'s OK. Not an official charger wire and a ZTE charger box....but that\'s OK. It came shipped with bubble wrap. Didn\'t have a scratch on the watch. Was just as described. I love it. My Gear S3 needed replaced and I\'m very satisfied with my purchase.
- My original Galaxy watch died after 4 years (it was working flawlessly until I swam with it - it was supposed to handle swimming; all that was available to me from Samsung was a repair). Now that Samsung is on iteration number 5 I decided that I would just get a new watch. I wasn\'t crazy about the appearance of the newest Galaxy 5 and given the function of the 4 and 5 are almost identical and I\'m used to the rotating bezel on the Galaxy 1, I opted for the 4 Classic. This is my first experience with a refurbished device, but thought I\'d give it a try being $200 less than a new one. To my surprise, it even came in the original retail packaging; the only way I could tell it had been handled is that the charger cord wasn\'t wound up just right. The battery life isn\'t quite what my Galaxy 1\'s was, but I already knew that the 4 Classic\'s battery is a little smaller; and after having it a week, the battery life even seems to be improving some (likely due to my not playing around with it so much - I\'m getting not quite 2 days with the AOD off and just using for time, steps, text notifications, sleep tracking and such - I haven\'t used GPS yet). The new Wear OS is not substantially different than the original\'s Tizen OS. Thus far, I\'m very pleased. The 3 year warranty from Amazon for $20 was a good deal, too, but I hope I\'m not going to need it. I was happy continuing to use my Galaxy 1, but have to admit that I really like this 4 Classic, especially at this price.TL/DR: Recommended :)
- Wore it 24/7 for 30 (active) months. Then one day I was swimming (not scuba diving!) and the entire top half (watch crystal AND the lcd screen) was lost. Obviously, not what I would have chosen, but it works out to like 15 cents/day so I\'m still reasonably satisfied.
