- Replaced my screen on my G8 ThinQ with little problems. The screen, touch, and all attached parts work perfectly. Keep in mind that the G8 ThinQ comes with an OLED screen and this particular replacement is LCD, but it still looks like new.The hardest part of the repair is moving the battery over. Move it dead last (take out the volume buttons, everything else you need but the battery) and use a generous amount of isopropyl alcohol to loosen the adhesive. I needed 3 plastic picks to slowly pry it up. Consider purchasing a backup battery in case you damage yours.As always, test your new screen before completing the repair. You don\'t want to get everything together to find out it doesn\'t work.
