I purchased these for outside by the pool. I was familiar with JBL quality and thought I would spend the extra money. The sound quality of the speakers is phenomenal. My only problem with them is their connectivity. It doesn\'t seem like my cell phone can be too far away before they start to cut in and out. Also, I loved the aspect of having two speakers. They have to be in pretty close proximity to each other to stay paired up. I can\'t put one on one part of the deck and the other maybe 20 feet away without the second one cutting in and out. Also, pairing the two together seems to be a challenge. Now, it could be me, but when my 18-year-old tech-savvy son approaches me and asks how to pair them, I know there was a problem. I paired them right away then. But, then the next day, it took me over five minutes to pair them. I don\'t know if it is the sequencing or what I am doing wrong.
We have a small outdoor patio and I wanted speakers that we could have outside with us. I have Bose speakers throughout my house and love them, but the outdoor wireless were pretty pricey. The JBL Flip 4 sound awesome and I have 2 speakers for less than one Bose. It was very easy to connect the 2 speakers together. I just connected one to my phone via Bluetooth and pushed the connect buttons on the speakers and they hooked right up. I dont need the Alexa connection, but its there if you want it. Overall I am very happy with them!
I was impressed with the sound from these speakers and they didn\'t disappoint. I purchased 2 and had them set up in different rooms looking for a surround sound. It\'s good ... my only complaint if there is one is that the same sound comes out of both speakers, no adjustment for base and treble, but overall great quality and value.
The sound is pretty good and the size is a decent size but for the money i think i would rather save up for something with a little more sound quality and more battery life
I just got these and the sound quality is fantastic. I also downloaded a free equalizer with presets. Also, the volume is as loud as you need for a pool area, or deck, or tail gate, outdoor party, or what ever. control the sound by your phone or individual speaker. Heads up: The instructions are hard to follow. You need to download the JBL free app for stereo (if you have 2 speakers). Be sure to turn on the Bluetooth and the speakers, and tap on each speaker when it is discovered. Call JBL customer service if you have problems they are very helpful.
I paired a couple of these to the large JBL Boombox using the JBL Connect app. It was great indoors, but on the beach or terrace it was a monster...loud, clear, with lots of bass outdoors, and the stereo separation made it sound like I was wearing headphones.
Was looking for a good out door speaker for the deck and ended up getting the Flip 4 2 pack! I do not know much about speakers but all I can say I am satisfied as I jam to 80s music!
Sound quality and battery life are good! I take them out to mow in my lap & have no trouble with them at all!!!
