- This booster was easy to install. I used the same hole that was drilled through the wall where there had been a satellite dish previously installed. Before installing the booster I could only get one bar on my phone, and that\'s if I was lucky. In most parts of the house I usually had zero signal. Now I\'m able to get 4-5 bars everywhere and can even make calls from our basement. Very happy with it.

- This unit has an outside antennae that needs to be installed outside the building for it to work well. It seems to work best if higher than the building roof line. While it did not work with my Verizon phone or hotspot, it did increase the signal for employees that had AT&T phones and significantly increased surfing speed as well as reduced troublesome spots when talking on the phone.After testing the unit we ran the cable under the eave and into the attic and then down into the room. Once it was all in place it became a better permanent solution than what we were using before. We had two bars inside and this increased it to four bars inside.This was a rural installation where we were on the edge of the range of the closest cell tower and so very erratic. I also tried it in a more urban environment were due to large steel buildings and other environmental factors, we had a weak signal. It did not help in any significant way in that scenario until we put it on a large pole significantly above the roofline of our building as well as a couple surrounding buildings that were taller than ours.So, given my testing and results, I would say that it will probably be very beneficial to AT&T or Sprint and other services named in their literature in a rural environment, but much less useful in an urban situation where large buildings are the reason for the weak signal.
