- I recently switched my wireless carrier to Tmobile and I thought, I would have better service at my home than I do but it was worse. I did not want to switch service again, so I decided to try this signal booster. I did some research before buying one and checked what band my service would be on at my home. I ended up returning this booster, it was very disappointing and frustrating to get it to work after days of trying. You better do a ton of research before buying one of these and probably better off trying to find somebody to professional install on of these. Cell phone service switches bands. It’s waaaay more complicated than these cell signal booster companies lead you to believe it is. Anyway, good luck to anybody else that tries one. I wanted it to work, who enjoy’s returning things ?? I certainly don’t.

- I work in a 29 gauge metal building, this booster was easy to install, just follow directions, but WOW!!! It works great, so far, 3days. I went from no service to 4bars instantly!It is a lower priced model, but it is working great for me. I would recommend it for sure!

- We live in the country and the signal with all carriers is very poor out here still. We have Verizon and my office is a metal building that is detached from the house. Whenever I would walk into my office I would always drop cell signal and would be lucky to have one bar of 1x while inside. I tried using wifi assisted calling but it would always cut in and out because our wifi is not the greatest out here either. While this is costly, it is still cheaper than buying one from the carrier. My husband installed it for me and I know it did take a couple of hours for him to install it but not sure how difficult it was. He said it was not that hard, the hardest part was getting it aimed in the right spot to catch the best signal from the tower.While it has increased my signal, it did not increase it as much as I had hoped it would. I still have moments where it does drop calls but it is definitely better than it was before. I went from dropping calls all the time to dropping them occasionally now and from being lucky to get 1 bar in 1x to most of the time getting 2 bars in 4g. Another thing that is not as good as they say is the radius. I get about 5-10 feet from the inside \"tower\" inside my office, which is all open, and my signal starts to drop again. My husband and I just got new phones today but have not activated them yet. The new phones are 5g so I will update if I notice a difference with the new phones on this setup.
- My grandfather’s home signal strength is very poor. They live out in the country. We decided to buy this signal booster for them. The box included everything we need. We followed the directions. It took a few hours to install.There should be good distance between the antenna and ampifier for proper installation. It is really great for my grandparents. better than it was before. So it is an effective way to improve the performance of device in areas with weak or unreliable signals.
- Signal boosters are difficult to tell if they are working because they amplify the signal of even the noise. In this case, the outdoor antenna is good, find the right tower and pull the signal inside. However, the indoor antenna is not strong enough to penetrate more than 1 wall.In the same room, boost is 2-3 bars, other side of the wall 0-1 bar boost. In an open room format or outdoor boosting, this is ideal. If boosting indoors, get a stronger indoor antenna or a splitter and an additional antenna.
