  • This does not work . Terrible feed back when talking. Voice dialing only works 50% of the time. Customer service is non existent they just say ya that sounds terrible and you should return. I will say it is loud . I wish it worked. Not sure how the vine customers that got free ones got it to work???
  • Got this for my mom. She can hear the phone now! Now if I can only get her to keep it changed...
  • When she has used this, not only can she hear others, but it helps them hear her. She has kind of a weak voice
  • This amplifier is fantastic. My mother is very hard of hearing and can now talk on her cellphone. The sound quality is great.
  • i just turned senior recently and quickly realized the physical change that happens when one gets to cross this inevitable milestone. then as quickly realized that our parents who are still with us, will need all the technology’s got to offer to make communication eaisier. this bluetooth cellphone extension will help them a lot.from the get-go, it definitely is less intimidating to pick up than a sophisticated cellphone. it also helps them with the hearing aspect of phone conversation as this phone is designed with an amplifier specifically for those with difficulties in hearing. i set its bluetooth to connect with their cellphone and now they have a cordless phone-like apparatus they can confidently use!
  • Let me start with the handset; I\'ve used it mself and it works great. Easy and load. But here\'s the problem:I\'ve dealt with elderly parents and now another aging relative. In each case I tried to improve their lives with some type of technology, but in the end run into the same problem.. many seniors are just unable to remember how to operate even simple devices. Something like an on/off switch can be too much to do when it\'s coupled to an external device like a phone. In the end, these tools go unused. I suggest evaluating your person\'s abilities before purchasing this excellent product.
  • I am so happy since getting this portable bluetooth phone. My father has his cell phone connected to the device and we both love it. I had bought my Dad all sorts of phones over the years hoping the more I spent the better the overall volume and sound quality would be. But not till I got this device have I had any luck. Ever since I got this device both myself and my family are all able to talk to my Father much easier. He has been very hard of hearing for atleast the last 20plus years so talking to him on the phone just got harder and harder at what seemed like with each passing day. But not anymore. This device is very easy to set up and connect to any Bluetooth compatible cellphone. And once you have it up and running using the device also extremely easy. And the the volume level and clarity of the phone call using this device are better than I could even begin to explain. This device has truly made my Dad life better and has brought him and the rest of the family closer together. I truly can not say enough about this awesome Bluetooth device and all it has done for my family.
  • My almost 92-year-old mother has had a cell phone for years, but still only uses her landline in the house. Her now smartphone is usable, but not for very long, it gets hot and it\'s hard for her to hold up to her ear for more that a couple of minutes. The speakerphone is not loud enough for her given her hearing loss, and she also has some difficulty with operating it to begin with, so putting it into speakerphone mode is not always obvious for her.So I thought this might be a great solution to help her use her mobile phone both at home, but also make it easier for her to talk when she was out of the house. And indeed so far it\'s been great. She mainly uses the handset not on speakerphone mode, and loves the loudness, which is probably even louder than her landline.Talking to her over the phone, her voice was clear, but I did hear a tiny bit of high pitched \"tinkling\" sound. It wasn\'t that loud and I couldn\'t tell if it was the connection or the device, so I\'ll keep an eye on that, but even if it was the device, it wasn\'t so distracting as to make it hard to hear what she was saying, it was pretty subtle. She loved how light it was and she also liked that she could walk around the room with it without having to also carry her cell phone. However, if she got much more than 20 feet away, the reception on the caller\'s end started getting choppy, so just be aware that although Bluetooth range is usually stated as 30 feet, that\'s really ideal situations, and it depends on what is in your environment that might interfere with the signal. Finally, she found the volume buttons easy to operate by touch, despite the fact that she doesn\'t have the best fine motor control anymore. One downside for a device like this is that you have to carry another device with you that takes up room in a bag, but if this is mainly going to be used in your house, that\'s not much of an issue. Also, this can take a while to charge it - 3-4 hours from a dead battery, so best maybe to charge it while you\'re charging your phone, unless you only use this for calls for 15 minutes or less per day, then I\'m guessing you probably only need to charge it on a weekly basis. There doesn\'t seem to be a good way to see how much power the battery still has, so you kind of just have to estimate it based on the last time you charged it.Despite those limitations, I think it\'s a very useful device for some people who have hearing loss, which most phones can\'t accommodate as they don\'t want to risk damaging people\'s hearing with overly loud audio. While the price is a bit hefty for what amounts to a Bluetooth speaker/headphone, it\'s ability to put out high-volume sound in a light, and easy-to-use package is kind of worth the extra cost, at least it was for our use.
