    • Device works wonderfully. Where we live cell service is very bad with only one provider available. Purchased this device on a friends recommendation but was skeptical. Worked great. Most of the time we have full service.Device broke after five months. Contacted customer service and within two or three days a new one was shipped. Definitely the best customer service I have ever had with any company.Great product and even better customer service!
    • Our home is located far from a cell tower and, consequently, we have a weak signal and often lose or miss calls. We bought the two (internal) antenna version of this product to make sure we were able to get coverage at both ends of the house. Since we have a relatively long one story house, I planned to put the exterior antenna on the roof and one antenna at each end of the house. I had to change my plan once I read the manual because the interior antennas cannot face each other and must be located 20 feet away from the exterior antennations and recommended 13 feet of vertical separation. That would not work on my single story house so I located the antennas in the attic as far away from the exterior antenna as I could facing down. I was able to mount the exterior antenna on a PVC pipe (see photo) and I aimed it to the nearest cell tower located using the free Open Signal app for iPhone. The Solid RF website did not have additional information and was therefore not helpful. But all was well in the end because there are lights on the amplifier that tell you if the antenna are interfering : they are not. We now have 2.5 bars throughout the house and in the garage, even in the driveway.
    • I can now talk on phone inside the house. We had only one area inside a 3000 sq ft house we could talk on phone so signal was 0-1 bars inside home and maybe 2 outside. We are rural, have a metal roof and are in the gap between 2 Verizon towers...not even sure if other providers work out here. We used the OpenSignal app to find strongest signal tower direction. I did have to buy an antenna arm to mount on house for this as that\'s just what worked best for us. So our set up is all completely in attic, even the 2 interior antennas -- I just have those facing down and it has made all the difference in the world with cell service and we didn\'t have all the extra drilling/wiring/mounting on walls. We have a ranch that has similar weak cell service and we previously bought the Wilson/WeBoost 4g that only has 1 indoor antenna. For $150 price difference and the 2nd antenna, I\'d definitely recommend this SolidRF unit.
    • Good for fringe low service area.
    • It\'s a PAIN to allign the exterier antenna with the cell tower!!!
    • Massive improvement. We are 3.5 miles from the nearest cell site and outside we have (1) 4G bar, inside we had no signal. With this unit we now have (4) bars throughout the entire house (from -130 to -96dBm)***Caution: This will not work as intended if you don\'t do your homework first.Homework: You must determine where the nearest cell site is, direction, distance, elevation, and available band(s) that are pointed in your general direction. Only then can you determine if this \"might\" help. If there are significant issues with anyone of these parameters, it\'s likely no booster will help. I used cellmapper.net for the nearest tower and likely bands, Google Earth Pro for the distance, bearing, and elevation profile, and the LTE Discovery APP to determine if could identify the specific site and band that I needed. If that checks out, then should consider purchasing the unit. Before installation: recheck your math and then I recommend a temp install to validate your homework with actual field conditions to determine if the unit will help or if you should return it.Temp install: For my temp install, I attached my external antenna to a broomstick and the broomstick to an extension ladder that could be moved around, raised, lowered, and adjusted to get the best signal possible. Then I ran the coax through an open window to a room where I could power the booster and plug in one of the internal antennas to get my reading and make the adjustments. Once I could see the levels I was looking for, I decided to keep the unit and do the permanent install.Permanent install: was very easy however the SolidRF 2-way low-loss 698-2700MHz RF Splitter is very fragile. I snapped the terminal over torquing the coax connector which cost me $54 for a replacement.
