- Revised review as of 12/15/21: after leaving the first review I was contacted by the seller. He was very responsive to my review and has made every effort to fix the issues we had with the product. I have changed my review to reflect the excellent customer service I received to fix the issues we had. Still working on getting signal but with his assistance, we are confident it will be resolved.Product was easy to install. Placed 30 feet up an existing antenna. Green light was sporadic and didn’t change the service to our phones. Tried many placements of both the antenna and receiver and finally gave up after a few hours of installing. This product did not work as stated for betterment of cell service. It’s a fairly remote area but within (end of) where cell service is available. Was hoping to at least text for emergency necessity if needed. Definitely not satisfied with this product.
- This doesn\'t improve signal strength for me.
- Used to boost a weak Verizon signal. Sometimes the signal in my area drops completely. When this happens, service still goes out. It is better than nothing, but not a miracle fix.
- Have had it for about a week. Installed on an old satellite post that was left on our roof from a prior owner. Went from no bars to 3-4 inside, crystal clear voice, can send/receive texts and stream video inside. Sat down, turned off wifi and pulled up youtube as a quick test and it played without any buffering (better than my wifi is sometimes). We\'re remote in the moutains (lots of trees and granite) so maybe have half a bar outside and can barely make a garbled call normally on our deck, so to go from that to crystal clear calls and 3-4 bars is amazing. I havent even gone out to try to adjust the direction the antenna is pointing, I know the tower is north/north west of us so just generally pointed it that way. I\'m sure if I fiddled with it I could get even better, but why bother, crystal clear calls with streaming video is good for me.
- This item malfunctioned immediately. Having done so,it became illegal,pusuant to FCC regs, to use due creating a spike in the area signal.A verizon rep came to my house and made me disconnect it so as not to disrupt service in the area This item should not be sold period. Verizon Rep said his full time job is tracking users of products like this and having them disconnected.
- For many years we struggled to get a good signal in the most areas of our home & used our WiFi for most of our needs. Most of our internet usage was streaming TV/Movies & using WiFi instead of data. We recently decided to disconnect our landline & internet service to save some money since our cell carrier now has an unlimited data plan w/ hotspot (for the same price we were previously paying for service) on our cell phones.We knew that we would need a cell signal booster for this transition to be successful. I looked at a ton of boosters online and decided to give this one a try. It wasn\'t super expensive but wasn\'t the cheapest either. With the 30day money back guarantee I figured why not!Note: Make sure to download the app so you know for sure what band you are on so you are sure to get the correct unit.This item arrived quickly & my husband installed this on his own in no time at all. We decided to place the indoor antenna close to the middle of our home within the recommended distance from the outside antenna. Now we have only had this for a few days & so far we couldn\'t be happier with this booster. In the areas of our home that had the worst signal (talking absolutely no bars) we now have 4 bars!!!
- So for some reason (and only in random spots) whenever we go into our camper our signal will be cut down to 1 bar of completely unusable signal even though we had decent reception outside. We got this thing to hopefully help with that. And it does work. Now we have anywhere from 2-4 bars of useable signal. And it doesn’t seem to matter if it’s only 2 bars or 4 bars, our phones will work great. It’s important to follow the instructions about how far each piece needs to be away from the other piece. If you have them too close together thinking it really doesn’t matter then you will be disappointed when it doesn’t function properly. Spread them babies out and it’ll work.
- We live in a metal home and as soon as you walked in you were lucky to get one bar of service. A lot of the boosters you buy you have to have wifi to make them work. We live far in the country and can’t get wifi so this was an answer to our problem. As soon as we hooked this up we had 4 bars!! Works great and solved a problem we didn’t think we could solve.
